What If Food Had Feelings?

What If Food Had Feelings?

This is the question the new animated film, release date August 2016, asks.

It’s the brainchild of a bunch of young Hollywood turks who screened it at last weekend’s SXSW annual Film/Tech/Music festival in Austin, Texas.

Storyline: the male lead, the Hot Dog Frank, reveals to the female lead, Bun Betty (I am not making this up, folks!) that food is something that the “Shopping Gods” take home to eat.

If you ask me, this is a simple case of what happens to our talent pool with the legalization of medical marijuana. My opinion aside, this film boasts some heavyweight talent beginning with composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast).
